Cellomania: Aurélien Pascal Plays Prokofiev
Having taken the French classical music scene and beyond by storm in recent years, cellist Aurélien Pascal was a prizewinner at the Queen Elisabeth and Emanuel Feuermann competitions. He was named Révélation Soliste Instrumental at the 2023 Victoires de la Musique Classique. In this visit to Hong Kong, he will join Hong Kong Sinfonietta and conductor Chuang Tung-chieh in presenting Prokofiev's devilishly virtuosic and enthralling Sinfonia Concertante, originally dedicated to the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich.
