From Design to Jewellery: Cartier Art Déco Drawings, 1910-1930

The exhibition features over sixty meticulously selected Cartier vintage jewelry and objects from the early 1900s, focusing on the 1910s and 1930s Art Deco era. Palais Royal presents a stunning collection, which draws inspiration from orientalism, Indian, and Persian influences that were highly sought after in Europe at the time. Additionally, the exhibition will feature original jewelry drawings and sketches by Charles Jacques offering a glimpse into the creative process throughout the era.

As both curators and guarantors of the pieces, the gallery prioritizes the preservation of the jewelry's heritage and can always guarantee their authenticity and excellence. Palais Royal Hong Kong's unique distinction lies in its exclusive ability to curate its own collections and host a Cartier exhibition.

Over the years, Palais Royal Hong Kong has garnered a reputation for having a knack for spotting a jewelry piece with a value that transcends through generations. Due to the recognized expertise, network, and experience, Palais Royal Hong Kong stands out as the sole company, other than Cartier itself, capable of organizing a showcase featuring the quintessential jewelry house.

All jewlery, objects and drawings are all available for sale.

Palais Royal Hong Kong

In 1996 Palais Royal Hong Kong was founded by two well-established dealers in fine antique jewellery, Mr. Gilles Zalulyan and Mr. Tom Korpershoek. Their store in Hong Kong opened in 2013 and was situated on the arts and antique street Hollywood Road before moving just up the road to a new showroom at Chinachem Hollywood Centre. It is the first store in Hong Kong to offer European high-quality antique jewelry, watches, and objets de vertu.

The Palais Royal Hong Kong team has built a considerable reputation with international collectors and dealers and is known for handling only quality pieces. Their extensive collection consists of European and North American pieces dating from the 19th century up to the 21st century and made by significant jewelry houses, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Mauboussin, Bulgari, Chaumet, Marchak, Tiffany & Co. and many more.
